best place to take your car pictures

everyone has a favourite..

obviously the parking lot across from the docks downtown is a good spot, with the city skyline in the background (altho i went there recently and there were signs that said "photography not permitted unless permit is issued") guess the docks caught on and are being tight.

im dabbling in photography, and was thinkin when the weather gets nicer, round everyone up at one of the meets and go take some proper pics.

suggestions?

I agree on taking more pics @ meets.
My personal fave would have to be in open fields on grass. Then all the viwer can focus on is the car

I've seen a couple good ones taken in front of tinted office building windows... also, a member here took a pic of his car in front of a wall with graffiti. Speaking of Hamilton, the Skyway bridge would be a good backdrop for a pic too. On or off the track pics... drag or circuit are usually good ones.

If they don't catch you your fine

There's this Loblaw's with a parking garage that I've seen some nice pics at. Also a few places around the CN Tower and the dome, sweet at sun set or dusk.

I was early for school today, so i stopped in this little park in Aldershot on northshore blvd. Anyways took a sample shoot of the beater... would be better if the light was good.

a good place for a meet would be Hearsey center in Mississauga, where they usually have auto-X, we can even call for permision there...

lakeshore/parklawn.. there's a big park beside the tall condominiums.. you could use the CN tower as a background .. i go there a lot to take pics on a nice sunny clear day and also good for practicing drift moves..
