Best place to buy Honda accessories?

Im looking to buy OEM (not ebay replica) foglights aswell as some other Honda accesories for my 04 coupe.....

im in ottawa and the local dealers charge crazy amounts for these things so im looking elsewhere.

im gonna be in TO in two weeks, are there any good dealers that sell Honda parts for good prices in the GTA? i know woodbridge is good for acura stuff anything similar for honda

another alternative im thinking is to buy from a US honda part online dealer but i have yet to find one that will ship to canada.....with the strong dollar the deals are good but who'll ship???

any comments would be appreciated!!

I bought a pair of fogs for my 04 sedan last year when I went to Asia, but I have never put them on my car. I was actually thinking of selling them so if you're interested you can PM me. I am not sure how the OEM lights are and if the ones I have are cheap imitation lights or OEM so tell me what to look for and I'll tell you which ones I have.

Become a paid member...place your order ahead of time with Parkway Honda (Toronto), come and pick up your parts when you're here and receive your member discount

PFFT...Wow....you think it's too expensive??? Geez...I'd hate to see what you're interpretation of cheap is....it would probably be 2 dollars above bankrupcy... ROFL. And being that you are not a paid member, how do you know how much we discount for paid members and employee's??? You pay for what you get...I truly believe that. If you only knew what our cost was, you'd change your attitude.

Cheers,
Buddah.

how do i know the discount for paid members? that information isnt exactly a big secret.
i have a friend who works at the parts counter at a honda dealership so he tells me his prices for parts.

and yes even with that discount i think its a bit too much just for fogs and im not willing to pay that much
maybe if i was a bit older and a high roller workin at a honda dealership i might be willin to pay it.

my attitude wouldnt change if i found out your cost cuz im only willing to pay upto a certain amount, regardless of what the dealerships cost is.

English owns you. If you read carefully, he was speaking about Parkway honda and not any other honda dealership. You clearly implied you knew the TCC discount and employee's discount at Parkway. There is one thing about dealerships you don't seem to realize, each dealership is owned by different owners....therefore run differently...therefore discounts differ from dealership to dealership...much like every other place. I'll tell you one thing tho, paid member prices are better than employee prices at Parkway....sounds weird but, it's true. But, I guess it all comes down to your last statement....which it's basically stating, any amount short of loosing money we give it to you at isn't satisfactory. So, we thank you...open the door...and wish you well. Take care.

Buddah.

im not gonna deny it, im an immigrant from africa where i wasnt taught proper english skills.

so your telling me that paid members get a better discount that the employees?
i call BS.

i know for a fact that the price quoted to a paid member for the 04-05 fogs was MORE than my friends discount, and not only like 20 bucks or something small.

and does that mean that parkway honda doesnt get as good of a discount as other dealerships?

Now here we go...we're getting technical now....this is good. First off, you know that there are two major factors here...Honda does provide both aftermarket and OEM fogs for that vehicle right? You didn't know this did you? Just because it's sold at honda doesn't make it automatically honda does it? Some may not necessarily tell you this..actually, more often than not, most parts guys don't even know. Also, are we talking about the entire assembly or just one lamp unit or both? With all of these factors, price is certainly an issue. I will guarantee you that the TCC discount is better than any dealer employee price. Afterall, all dealerships are out to make money and not loose money or break even but, I will say the TCC discount is basically short of loosing money so please, don't assume to know.

Here's a simple way of doing this. Pay the 30 bucks to become a paid member. Shop at Parkway for prices then go to other dealers and shop for that same product with the same part number, and I'll let you judge for yourself. If you have any other questions, PM me. I'll be glad to answer any questions you may have.

And on that note, I think it's time to finish this spanish inquisition and leave it at that.

Cheers,
Buddah.
