Anyone sponsored by Sport Compact Pro?

Just wondering if anyone is or if they know of anyone sponsored by them. I just got approved and they are sending me a contract, just wondering what I should be looking forward to?

what you should look forward too: nothing that a real sponsorship would give you.

seriously they sign people up... then you pay for the parts that you can only get through them. then if you win shows they give you money back. however what most fail to realize is that the initial outflow of money is often greater then any inflow of cash.

real sponsorships are of the form "hey I want my companies name on your car what will it cost" essentially to get these you have to sell the car to possible clients as a place and a tool to market themselves in their industry. But hey who wants to listen to a dude thats been there and done that, right?

yah, that's true, he said that I would be getting 55% off products, that I would be paying cost then they will be paying from cost to retail. All I want is the good deals on parts but I have no idea what is attached to the sponsorship like I have to attend shows and stuff.

Your car has gone through a lot of unfortunate events.

That's a really light shade of pink. Almost pail looking.

hahah this forum isn't about my car, but thanks for the good comments, I still don't know what to do with this guy.. maybe I should wait to see what the contract holds.. I heard from some people that you get paid back if you win a competition but I wonder if they are strict on what kind and where the competition is. I'm in North Bay, I am not going to drive all the way to california or something
