allbody work is complete, my flatblack 91

just did all the body work on my car, she was a rust bucket but i fixed her all up.....rattle canned her flat blck but its spotted and kimnda rough sotommorow im gonna wet sand the whole car to blend it all inand smoothen it down, but heres some pics of her so u can get an idea, check out mycustom tails also btw.....

tails look poopy...and the paint like you said needs some work...but the body work looks half decent

if u saw the car before hand its 1000000 times better...just needs to smoothen it out more and fix the spotty paint. and he drilled the 1/4's in i believe.

drilled in?? i've heard of riveting them in but never drilling ah well congrats on doing it all yourself...

ya i drilled them in.....lol.....too much work and not worth it to cut it out and weld them in on a civic.......plus im going all go and not so for the show so i dont care.....lol

btw, to get that spotting out and the paint smoother do u think wetsanding the whole car will work?.....andhat grit u think i should use?

ya they use a really high grit paper... i remember they wet sanded a car on that american hot rod to smooth out the paint so it'll work for sure... obviously just be careful to not take to much paint off

yeah they wet sanded it before doing the clear coat. use a really high grit.

ya, theres no clear on my paint.....so hopefully this will take all the spotting out and smoothen everything down

umm drilled the 1/4's in??

like just left the rust ones under and slabbed the new 1/4 over top and put screws in to hold it???

^^^^^^^ i cut out the old rusty ones withba sawzill....and screwed these in, them bondo,fiberglass,puttyed them in
ud never know.....it all looks factory

well besides the fact that theres just screws holding them in which give it no structual integrity at all, so dont be surprised if the bondo cracks because the panel has flexed lol

^^^^^^^ loudsubs, i dont think u understand what i did..the car was rusted at the corners......i cut out the little buit of rust with a sawzill then laid the panel over the existing panel....then screwed it in inside the wheel well, underneath the car and inside the door jam....so infact its sjut as striong as b4 if not stronger, and if i didnt tell u, ud never knw in a million years thats what i did.....i think u were thinking i cut the hole area out wherei laid the panel
