8th Gen with LSD?

Which year of the 8th gen SI comes with LSD? Or all of them comes with LSD?

Somehow i recalled that Honda decided to add LSD in 2007 or 2008.

I'm sure the 2008 Si's have the helical lsd. I'm quite sure 06-current they all come with the same lsd setup.

All 2006-2010 Civic Si's have a Helical Limited-Slip Differential.

Nope. The red was the wifes and she traded it in for a Mini Cooper. I have a white Si though. Great car. No real complaints except the low quality interior. I highly recommend one.

Any other questions about them, ask away and I would be happy to answer them.

i love my 09 EX-L i havent noticed as many low quality interior complaints most people have said about 8th gens.

Other than some parts scratch real easily, like fingernail easily.

Leather is great quality. asswarmers are nice too.

Never actually calculated the mileage/litres per 100k's thing, but I get about 550-600ks mostly highway. I used synthetic in the wifes Si and I noticed slightly better mileage and better cold weather performance. The K20 doesnt like the cold.

I find the plastics scratch and scuff very easily and the interior rattles alot in the winter when the plastic gets cold. Few rattles in the summer, but they are minor compared to the winter. Ive also found that the alcantera/suede material on the seats and armrests doesnt wear very well. Mine started to fade after only about a year and I had parts replaced under warranty. In 2009, Honda started using different materials on the seats and I havent read about any problems.

My Si has about 87000ks on it now and it has been problem free. Regular oil changes and I follow the maintenance minder. Fast enough for me, handles great, lots of nice features (great stereo for OEM, 1 touch open/close moonroof, HFP parts, etc).

Most Honda fanboys say they are ugly and too heavy, but I dont think so. Drive an older EG or EK back to back with a new Si and the new one drives so much better. The older ones are cheap econoboxes in comparison.

I have an 06 SI ....

I totally agree on the scratch issue on the dash components and the rattles in the winter....

The K20 hates the cold weather until the engine is good and warm...I have a remote starter just for this reason...

I have about 100,000 km on my car and regularly maintained with full synthetic oil and only premium fuel....I am getting maybe 500 km to a full tank (on average 40-45 ltrs to fill)....The only thing I have paid to service is the brakes.

I had a 2000 Civic Coupe and it was no where near a nice as my newer SI is....But too each their own! I love my new Car!
