5hrs and im finally done!

I spent 1pm-6pm today, washing the car, cleaning it. Removing oxidation and other nasty stuff from the paint, sealing, glazing, polishing, and i gave it two coats of wax. That wax smells good too, and now so does the car .

It was worth every second cuz i also spent a half hour just standing and admiring my work. IM so proud LOL ....
but seriously the car look REALLY good now..... onw im off for a nap

Good stuff man! I have a black civic too and nothing compares to the look you get just after waxing. Gotta love that mirror reflection.

If the weather stays nice I'll be doing mine on the weekend. It usually takes me 6-8 hours to do mine but now I have to do the rims as well and it is about time to clay it.

I spent about 4 hours doing mine yesterday. Wash, tried that Turtle wax color cure stick on my scratch, polished, then waxed. What I hate though is a couple of hours later I gotta go out and dust it cuz dust is pretty noticable on black cars. Nice mirror finish, but I still gotta get a paint job.

I know what you mean about the dust and black cars. It just takes one day of driving to work and my car will already be covered in a nice layer of it.

I love my California Duster. Even though my cars are white, it keeps the dust off - so when it rains, you don't get those nasty dirt marks.

Roger, wanna clean both cars for me?

That's what I use....
much easier to keep it clean longer.

http://www.calcarduster.com/detailingKit.asp

http://www.calcarduster.com/autoOrig...Waterblade.asp Bought this last year.....10min and the car is dry, and ready for wax.

http://www.smarnold.com/Pages/CarDusters.html
Does the SAME job, but half the price. Crapy Tire and Wall Mart have a knock-off that works just as good, (looks like the above link), cheaper too.....under $15. (I know, because I own both of them).
AND REMEMBER NOT TO WASH THEM!!
The dirtier they get, the better they work. If you wash them, the coating they added the the fibers is removed, and it does not work as well. That's why I bought the second one from Crapy Tire.
