Yeah for sure, the IS-F is freaking hawt! Saw it in a parking lot a couple of days ago and was in awe.

i was looking into buying one of these also, but the pros couldnt outweigh the cons, the cons mostly being that i hated the interior(the seats are nice though) and the way the car looked. i hated the rear, but they look better wingless though imo. There will be lots of aftermarket support if you plan on modding it, if youre not satisfied with how fast it is already.

take it for a drive, if you like it then buy it. if youre worried about longetivity of the car as a whole they have a pretty good warranty and besides as long as you dont beat on the car everyday it will easily last the time you want it to and then some. check out some lancer/evo message boards and find what the common problems with the car are.

Hardly. Hater implies jealousy, which I am not. The o/p asked for opinions and I gave mine. The EXO is a great performing car no doubt. Its AWD and has 4 doors which makes it practical too, but IMO, the car is ugly and Ive driven rental cars with nicer interiors.

With 40-50gs to spend, there are many other cars Id be looking at. A3 or A4, 3 series, IS250 or 350, WRX265, G37 sedan. None are as fast as the EVO and you wont get as much attention from the kiddies at Tim Hortons, but better all-around cars IMO.

for 40-50Gs id go for the BMW 1 series. 2 doors, 350hp none turbo engine and its rwd.

Partly why I don't like it. Yeah, it's fast and all, but it's too flashy, and I hate things on a car that aren't functional.

Yeah, only the top 2 are "real". The tips come with the bumper and are not physically attached to the actual muffler. >_<

Take it out for a test drive, if you haven't already, and see how you feel about it after driving it a bit. A lot of mixed opinions.

Meh.

I would much rather make a car like a civic go faster than an expensive car with fake parts...

Lot's of fake chrome exhaust pipes and luxury aren't the most important things to me in a car. Simple as that.

If you like the IS-F, good for you, go buy one. I agree is a very fast and well-handling car. I just wouldn't buy one, not my cup of tea.

I'd take a luxurious car over any hollowed out Civic with one seat and a roll cage that runs 9 seconds in a 1/4 mile.

All about status buddy. You can keep the shell.
