the precidia's are alot of fun if you have the V6....
The problem with the MX-3 is it has serious issues with brake caliper seizing and needing replaced every year to two years....cv joints....power window switches....axles....hla lifters.....timing belts....foggy headlights....leaky valve cover gaskets.....struts.......rust........lack of aftermarket parts........
i had a lot of fun with mine, but that's why i got rid of it...........

If you want leather, your only option is the 1.6EL. You could get a Civic coupe and buy EL leather seats for it, but I think you will be happier with the EL. (Thats my unbiased reply for today )
BTW, check out www.clubel.ca for more info, although I think I've already seen you post on there.

The Acura is more luxurious coz of the leather interior and other things (different suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes, leather, etc.) that just aren't available on the Civics. (Wait, I think that the SiR's had 4 wheel discs, but that's a different story...)
If you want leather, I think that you don't have a choice in the matter unless you plan on swapping out the interior.
As for gas milage, the car sips gas; it ain't no gas guzzler.

i hate my mx3, the fucken cv joint broke, but i did drive it to 210 the day before. eventho it's a v6, i hate it, it's tiny, a girl car, it isn't gas efficient, the power windows are slow, tranny broke once, cost 2700 to fix (comes out of my pocket), fucken shitty *** ford products, fucken american owned companies, hire dumbass american as engineers, shitty *** car period.
i wish i wasn't paying for school, cuz i'd get a wrx.

Heh....all cars have weak points but I see where your coming from.
Get the EL if you want leather. Civics never had leather from the factory.
Get the EL and do a B-Series was that be sweet.
