I'd wait or go to another dealer. If they really wanted your business, then they would find you one.

My 06 is the third Honda I've got from the same dealer, so maybe I'm considered a good customer.

I'll be changing mine long before 8k's no matter what the monitor says, especially the first time. The car doesn't use synthetic so I wouldn't go any higher then 8k's.
IMO changing it before it says is a waste of $$$$. I figure honda spent tons o cash and used people way smarter then me to build the car so the least i can do is listen to what they suggest. the 5000k thing is old. new technology new rules. isnt it the mini cooper that only needs an oil change every 30,000km?

Hi everyone, this is my first post. I'm looking for a 06 civic Ex sedan, so last week I went to a dealer (roadsport) to check out the price. The saleman told me that the price for 06 civic will be increased about $200-300 after new year . Also, I was told that I have to wait at least 6 weeks to get the car if I order it today. Do you think the price will be increased after new year or the saleman is lying?
Does anyone know the inovice price and OTD price for 2006 EX auto sedan? How much did you pay for your 06 civic? From which dealership? Thanks

You guys need to start taking the consumer power back.

If I was you, and the salesman pressured the sale that way for this year and then said you'd have to wait 6 weeks for the car, I'd be calling Honda Customer Relations and say, "I had a very negative experience with your Sales at Roadsport Honda, this is what I was told by so and so, (explain situation here). It would be a shame for me to associate Honda with this behaviour, as i am still young with many cars to buy in my future, a potential lifetime customer. I hope that dealer doesn't turn away all your future potential longtime customers."

UHMMMM for your info the price of the Civic DX-Gs is going up considerable TOMMORROW ( Jan 3RD ) as well as all models are seeing a price increase. The sales man isnt lying. We have had the info for a few weeks now ( BTW I sell Hondas )

And if your looking for a particular model look outside of the GTA there is civics to be had... PM for more info.

Id be willing to help out any member of TCC in thier pursuit for a 2006 Civic

The MSRP price for a 2006 Civic EX sedan w/auto is $23000 plus freight/PDI, air tax and pst and gst.

PDI/Freigfht is $1225 on civics, and there is NO ADMIN fee's. Dont let a dealer sucker you into thier $399 Admin fees. That etching program doesnt do squat and doesnt cost the dealer a whole lot either its $399 of PURE profit.

Is that because of the $1,500 off and 2.9 % financing promo until Jan. 3?? I thought it was only on Accords, CRV, ect.

BTW, how would a complaint to Honda Canada affect your dealership ?? A person at Parkway told me that it affects the quality standard of the dealership considerably.

That promo is only for the Accords and CRVs ect... there is no promos on the Civics, and all its gonna see after Jan 3rd is a price increase. Ill be suprised if we see any promos on Civics befroe summer, thier selling so good, im drivng a 2006 Civic Sedan LX... its a demo so its up for grabs for a good deal ( silver FYI, about 8000kms)

IM not sure how much it is on the EX sedan, but I know its a good hike, im thinking it was around 300-400buxs, ill post tommorrow exactly what it is.

As for the complaints, it does affect us alot, and if you buy the car the give us a bad survey it hurts us even more ( assales people and a dealership )

I hope your not planning on a complaint to my dealer.

All dealers try to achieve what honda calls Q dealer ( quality Dealer ) its similar to Chryslers 5 star ect ect, it all refelcts around the customer surveys both in service and sales.

Why would I complain about your dealer??

I was just letting others know that this is an option if they are unhappy with the service they are getting from a particular dealer sales or even service. Let them know that Honda Canada takes complaints seriously.

I'm kinda glad I signed the paperwork on the 22nd of Dec. for my 06 EX. Too bad the shipping time from the plant to the dealership is a few days overdue.

I believe the sedan also built in Alliston.

For those who has 06 civic, I want to know how you feel about the car comparing to the previous model. Any problem at all (except the recall)?

Sedans are predominately built at the East Liberty, Ohio plant. Your VIN will tell you exactly where your car was built.

I have a detail review of my Coupe that I'll be posting this weekend.
