Hard Brake Pedal
As the weather is getting cold i noticed my brake pedal is hard in the morning. once the car is warmed up the pedal seems normal. any suggestions what can be causing this? all brakes front and back are new.

Do the brakes work fine otherwise?
It's probably because the fluid is colder and thicker. As it warms up, it thins out. |
Brakes work fine. Just when its cold in the mornings its hard.

Time for a brake fluid flush
|
just did a complete brake fluid flush and still the same. not to bad as it still warm out.
|
press brake paddel few times (7-8times)after turning on your car. and then drive, paddle should be fine.
report back |
It's not the fluid, it's a power brake issue.
Car off, press and hold the brake pedal firm. Start the car, does the pedal sink? If it doesn't you got either a bad booster, check valve or hose. |
im guessing the check valve is in the middle of the booster vac hose?
