WOULD an 88 HONDA ACCORD TRANNY fit an 87 accord?

WOULD an 88 HONDA ACCORD TRANNY fit an 87 accord?
hey everybody, i have a problem my 87 accord (winterbeater) the tranny went.. and i found a 88 honda accord transmission for a good price wondering if it would fit on my 87?? i know they are the same series 86-89 just making sure that the tranny does fit.. does anybody know???

should fit aslong as it not from a fuel injected accord or vice versa
