Tremclad paint job - how to make it shiny

I just painted my whole car with tremclad paint just like what some other members here suggested, just wondering, do you guys know if i can use an actual automotive top clear coat to shine it up n protect it or do i have to use the tremclad clear coat too? coz the tremclad one says not for automotive use so im not sure =/ please help.

a automotive clear would look great. but if you read the spray can, tremclad says your not allowed/suppsoed to use it. you have to stick with a tremclad clear
