Swapped Engines

Here's the deal, im planning to build a B-series turbo (still figuring out my budget); im just curious how's the car insurance going to be or is there any insurance company that will insure swapped/boosted car..or can i still use this car on the street or cops will destroy it ASAP..Pls let me hear your opinions/advice before i spend big dough and police just hammered it..

from what i know..Insurance companies dont insure turbo cars..atleast not statefarm
and cops will destroy the car if you get booked for street racing. other than that..turbo cars are not illegal...a lot of cars come stock turbo these days...but aftermarket turbo is a problem for insurance. hope this helps
p.s forced induction on any motor means you are looking at a fortune spend on it...cuz if u get a poor job done, ur gonna blow ur motor...u might want to jus stick with a swap

I dont think many ( if any) insurance will insure a turbo car .... And even a swap engine may be a problem if you disclose it to your insurance company.. Not so much if you are swaping the same type of engine but if you are putting a more powerfull one..

But call around and ask.. I know for a fact td doesnt even insure lowered cars

I don't think any insurance company will want to insure a modified car due to high risk.

your still chancing it by not telling your insurance company about the mods. if you get into an accident and the company finds out about the mods your claim can be denied and they can drop your coverage right there and then. the best bet is to shop around and try and find a broker or company who understands or is into modding cars.
