cluster problem...NEED HELP!

hey everyone,

i have a 1994 four door integra ls...i originally had a stock ls cluster..recently i purchased a usdm type r cluster...i plugged the cluster in and the gas need needle went up and then it went back down and stayed down..every once in a while i could turn off the car and start it again and it wouldnt do ne thing, it would just stay down...someone mentioned to me that on my harness (1 of 4), i would have to switch a couple wires from that harness in order to have it working properly...if n e one knows about this or actually knows the proper way pls pm me...thanks

yes its true you have to swap a few wires when dealing with the type R clusters. check honda tech they have the intructions for both the JDM and USDM type R clusters and the years.
