My dc2 been giving me some issue lately. In the mornings when I start my car I can press the gas all the way to the floor and the engine wont rev. If I hold the pedal down for a 4-6 sec it rev up and I can drive it but ever so often after driving it lags/hesitates when taking off.

Any suggestion for a fix would be nice

Hate to say it man but this kinda thing isn't something that should be fixed by a bunch of guesses from a forum. You'll just end up throwing parts at it and it'll only get fixed by fluke if it does.

Go see one of the trusted vendors, HV, or DTP, even myself or any of the other members like MPR might be willing to help if your in his area and at least get a quick educated guess by having someone look at it and point you in the right direction.

Otherwise start with general maintenance stuff, plugs wires fuel/air filter stuff you car could use anyway so your not totally wasting money and see if any of that helps.

Also is the check engine light on?

thanks for the reply i found out the timing belt had jumped 1 tooth. reinstalled and running like a champ again
