ZC tranny??

ZC tranny??

I just recently bought a fourth generation dohc zc engine. It came our of a 94 civic dx the tranny code on the tanny that came with the engine is c5f s20 i am just wondering what this is out of and what would b a good fit performance wise, any input would b great thanx

not sure the question 100%. (Cuz I'm an idoit)
ZC engines fit like D series. But aren't 100% parts changable with D series engines. People boosting engine will buy ZC's because they're cheap, and with the right boost, you won't need/worry about vtec.

Or are you asking, what tranmission fits ZC, or would your ZC tranny fit another engine?

As I recall the p20/s20 transmissions are "Si" which have the shortest gears compared to all other d-series transmissions. The c5f is from DX if I'm not mistaking.Now to clear up the confussion above, you use all d-series parts, not B. Parts from d16a1 will fit. So look for 88-89 Integra parts for things like plugs/wires/dizzy.Hope this helps.
