transmission issue

Hi I have a 01 Civic Lx auto 160km on it and for the last little bit it has started thump and clunk whenever I shift from Park to Drive/Reverse. Once in drive the transmission shifts fine and smooth. Looked at the fluid and it looks good and doesnt smell burnt. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

If you have to ask, then I suggest don't even bother trying you'll save a lot of $ and headache. Ask a professional like Chris_V2 or zeeman. They know what they're doing.

There is a magic lever on the right side beside the pedals. Jking.
Just go to your mechanic and ask him to check the engine/transmission mounts. Otherwise tell him to fix the problem. Lol

I don't suggest you go to your mechanic and say "check my mounts". You should go to your mechanic and tell him your issue. Even though the problem is most likely a mount.
