jsut wanted to know the prices or where to get a lsd tranny or if anyone has asny info on other trannys,, b series please no SIR

just buy a lsd and put it in you current tranny if all you want is lsd. if your tranny is done then sure find a new one with lsd but other wise if your tranny is solid then why buy a used tranny that might end up having a grind in 3rd high?

As long as you know how to open and close the case on your tranny the hardest part of changing to lsd is getting the tranny outta your car, which your gonna have to do either way.

I wouldn't go on what dusty is saying.

I bought a YS1 (cable) that was without a LSD. I bought a Quaife LSD off ebay $450 I think. $200 install, do in a shop. Got the Transmission for $60 here on TCC.
$710. Or, find a tranmission, tek. notik.com or a respected seller from here/supplier. and pay $700-1000.

I found my Quaife on eBay as a steal, since they normally go for 6-800$. And it's not always that easy to 'drop' them in. you'll have to looking 'shimming'. Fortunitly, my quaife did not need to be shimmed.

Unless you're building some super tranny (We have the technology), I would buy an imported transmission. I had an S80 and it was great! So unless you need over drives from this tranny, and longer gears from that tranny, an LSD from some other source, I'd buy a import.
