need help finding out what tranny i bought.

i cant seem to find the id where you usually look

only stamp i can see is " ysk-1"

any ideas

i believe its a b17 gsr transmission. look into the hole where the drive shafts go, if you can see through it, that means its non-lsd. it would also have a stamp on it saying LSD if it was.

well the guy i bought it off put a quaife lsd in it. soo were back to square one lol.

Transmission: YS1, cable

B18A1:
Transmission: 90-91: S1, rod type
Transmission: 92-93: YS1, cable

B16A:
Transmission: S1/J1/Y1/YS1


YSK1 was stamped onto all cable transmission housings. This is not the identifier code.
