shifter question?
sup guys,
quick question i have a B&M short shifter from a 95 civic im gonna give to my buddie to put in his GSR now i know the GSR shifter is a bit wider at the bottom.. could some washers do the job? or spacers? or just tell him to get a gsr short shifter? thanks boys! |
Is it a D-series shifter?
I know for a fact, D-series shifter doesn't work well on DA integras. Though DC being same chasis as EG, i would assume it should. The problem i encountered was that the D-series pivot point [ball] was too high causing the shifter to stick out too much in the bottom and it was hitting the exhaust pipe. If you have anything to compare it to, it would help. Width wise, just add some washers and use the GSR metal insert for where it mounts to the shifter linkage, and if it has slack, add washers on each side. Then add the rubber o-rings that go on each side. It will be just fine. |
well moral of the story here boys
it works just used some washers provided by B&M and were golden Much better than stock i love it! |
btw

Glad it worked out.
