You mean an aftermarket LSD?
I know the stock LSD tranny can be weak compared to lets say quailfe :

Kaaz, oem, quaife LSD's...pros and cons

I have an oem b16 LSD. I dont really feel a difference but I never really push my car that often to notice I guess.

Preludes are boats tho. They weigh what, 3300lbs or so? lol and your CX is 2300lbs if im correct. My brother has an lsd tranny in his EF for about 8yrs now and about last year its starting to go.

no cons that i can think of...

OEM helical LSD is good, quaife is the best. kaaz is a bit sticky and noisy in my experience.

OEM helical will be cheaper if you can find a good used one.

Go aftermarket.......Why would you want to put some 16 year old oem lsd in??
And there is no cons to having a LSD.
