My car can shift out of 3rd without clutch.

Ok I noticed this by accident a few days ago. I can shift in and out of 3rd without the clutch. I still need to use the clutch to get out of 2nd but from neutral I can put it into 3rd. And also when I shift to 4th, I can pop it to neutral then clutch to 4th.

It doesnt happen with any other gears, and it won't pop out when I'm on the gas fortunately.

Is this a major issue and somwthing to be worried about. Or does this happen with normal wear after time.

Oh really? I'll have to try this and see. It just seemed weird when I did it because I'm used to using clutch all the time.

see how u can pop it out of third easily? when u pop it out, right after, while its in neutral rev it up to about 4 or 5 thousand and as ur doing that give it force towards second and when u give it gas ull feel it slip out of third and go into second

all you got to do is rev-match. meaning lets say you are going into 4th gear and your rpms would be at 2000. so rev to 2500ish and while its falling down gently hold it at the point where it feels like you have to force it almoust. now when rpms drop to 2000, apply bit more pressure and she will go in there no problem
if im rolling i can go from 1st to 5th and then 5th to 1st without clutch
but yeah dont do it too often unless you want to get a new transmission
