not to thread jack but can you check if an uninstalled tranny has a LSD without opening it? I picked up a 92 civic with a jdm engine/tranny swapped into it, the guy claimed it has a lsd I'd like to kno wbefore I insstall the tranny into my civic.

I haven't recently heard about the OBX other then it's a copy of the quaife one but the don't clean up the machining burrs you need to do that your self but I've only heard that IF you clean it up before the install, they're a good deal.

yes by looking through the hole where the axles go. If there is a bar going through it its not LSD. Wide open LSD. I think the bar is called a spider gear.
