What are you plans for the car?

All it will really do is allow the engine to rev quicker. You won't see any power gains.

well this is just my daily right now... looking to gain some kind of low end power.. i thought maybe getting a lighter flywheel would have helped... but i don't know... i am going to swap the motor out.. but i may be keeping this motor for an EF or something... that is why i don't feel too bad about modding it just a bit...

and as for revving up faster.. wouldn't that take me where i want to be.. a bit faster? or would there be no point?

It won't add any power, meaning you won't feel any difference and it won't show any gains on the dyno.

It will help your throttle response, and when you free-rev the engine (not in gear) it'll be snappier....but thats about it.

Maybe Zeeman could add his thoughts with his dyno experience, but I wouldn't think there'd be much, if any, gains from a lighter flywheel.

Wouldnt waste my money [again] lol. I had a light weight flywheel and after all the money spent, there was absolutely no difference. Other than revving quicker in parking lots to annoy people with my loud exhaust lol.
