one thing I would do, to keep turn around time down, is either use a new (light weight) flywheel or get another stock one and have it resurfaced and the pilot bearing replaced. This way the mechanic doesn't have to stop, take the flywheel to the machine shop and hopefully get it back same day, before being able to put it all back together.

With everything ready to go, it can be replaced in about 3-5 hours, depending on how easy everything comes apart.

I've had good luck with exedy, competition clutches, ACT and OE replacements and ones custom built for more power/performance from EuroDrive in burlington.

Exedy OEM replacement for D series is around 140-160, and around 250-375 for labour including fluids so between $390-$525 in total.

Your stock master cylinder is going to handle pretty much ANY type of clutch you could throw at it... I don't know if you are still looking to get this done..? But as far as some of this pricing you have said you have found, If you are willing to come here (Near OwenSound) I would be willing to help you out for $200 depending on weather or not you have everything already to do it. ( I can help you source all the parts for a very resonable price as well)

I can even have you there so you can learn how to do this for yourself in the future

Well, let me know. Otherwise goodluck with it all

Thanks!
-Steve
