competition clutch VS exedy

Which would u guys take.

I need to change my clutch, I have decided to go stage one but have 2 options.

Exedy stage 1 clutch or Competition stage 1...

Im leaning towards the Competition because its a little cheaper but someones person opinion and rep can change that as it it only a little more expensive for exedy.

I am also open to other brands. Feel free what u guys would prefer out of personal experience.

I've no experience with competition clutches but you get what you pay for and do you really wanna change your clutch again sooner then later? it'd be like putting a timing belt on that you knew you had to change 25% sooner then an OEM one. just to save a few bucks now you could end up spending more later. I guess what you need to know is who has experience with competition clutches. I can say that Exeddy is good but I hear from other people they do occasionally have problems. personally I think regardless of what you go with people who say "I bought an X-brand clutch and it blew up after no time at all" usually also said they didn't need to do a proper break in of their clutch.

I have heard only good about Bully other then in some cases they are a little hard on the wallet. Another to consider is Clutch Masters dual force st2 but both of these are pointless unless your going for higher performance.

well exedy is 300$ where as competition is 250$ so both of em are quite up there...not some cheapo knock off..

I'm running a six puck Competition Clutch Stage One!
Go for it, it's such a nice clutch and grabs hard when you need it to.
Everyone that's driving my car has fallen in love with the clutch.

Ive had both and though im contradicting myself from first posts up there, i would go with exedy. Just had a better feel.
Both were stage 1s, will be trying stage2 Exedy soon, unless i decide to go with bully.

Lol I did. I remember responding to the question.
He got competition stage1 and it is still good and grabs well. Maybe too well he was saying, but that's a long story. Lol
