Clutch gets harsh... can't shift...

Hey guys I am having some clutch issues... if some ppl can give there 0.02.

I put in a new clutch about 2 mths ago.... everything works well...
Now a few days ago I noticed that when I come to a stop or if im going to be coming to a stop I notice my clutch pedal is feeling weird. ( Kinda hard and harsh crunchy feeling )
Anyways car wont go into gear...so I have to shut car off put it in 1st then start car and take off with the clutch down it kinda moves and the car kinda peels out.

I had a sim problem prior to changing the clutch and I put a new Clutch master cylinder because my line from the cluth master to the resevoir had a leak in it and the little overflow container was black.

So I put a hose on temp. 2.5mths ago and I put a new clutch master cyhlinder... now the fluid is all black. So today I put on a brand new honda hose that is bent correctly and a new clutch master cyclinder... was bleeding the system like crazzy... and in a 20 min drive it happened 2 times at a light where the car would not go into any gears unless I shut the car off.

Also it makes a winning noise sometimes....when i put car into first and push clutch down

Could it be a slave? About a yr ago my slave went and i put a good used one on... does this sound like slave issues?

Thanks,:drivesafe::popcorn:

the slave usually go first if you compare the lifetime of the two. Since you put a used slave cylinder, then there's no doubt that it is the slave cylinder. Check for any leaks on both sides of the system, the master and the slave. If You do not find anything and everthing seems to be working alright then it could be your clutch system. Did you machine your flywheel at the time you put on the new clutch disc and pressure plate? Did you do a proper break in on them? about 500km roughly on the street and not highway cuz you can easily get 500km without even using the clutch that much. Anyways, inform us on any more of your problems. peace out.

ive seen an issue with clutch release lever being cracked at the pivot therefore
not releasing clutch pressure plate all the way.ask whoever installed it if they noticed
anything with the release lever inside tranny.also could be lack of lube on
input shaft of the tranny where release bearing slides.

Ek joe I don't even know what to say about that. This is a car forum full of DIYers.

To me it sounds like a hydro system problem perhap slave, master or it could just be that you need to bleed it more.

Recently I had a transmission issue... the pedal felt fine but the shifter just wouldn't go into any gears sometimes. Also, there was a loud noise when in neutral. For me it turned out to be the input shaft was loose. Your issue sounds different so you cross out thta idea.

Good luck.

haha there is a good portion of people on here that are mechanics

^^ yes but i must agree with Ek joe. many pro's dont come around anymore and many are just "DIY'ers" who just mcguiver stuff. ofcourse everybody can guess and you will eventually get the right part, but its easy to tell somebody to change a part when its not costing you a penny.

Thanks for the replys,

I put a brand new Honda bend hose from the clutch master to the resevoir.
I also put a new clutch master cylinder because all the fluid was all black.
I will be putting a new slave and checking the shift linkages.... because the shifter seems to be going up and down a tad in "N" .
