bad slave cylinder?

I have had issues with my clutch slipping lately.
The car will drive fine with no issues or slipping but then out of the blue it will start to slip when shifting gears and accelerating, or as strangely as stopping at a red light and then from then on it will occur. After little bit it may go back to its normal grabbing.

Would this be caused by a bad clutch slave cylinder?

I will say before someone tells me to check, I am NOT losing clutch fluid!

It should not be an adjustment issue since it will grab great and one moment and then terrible another.

Another idea, messed up pressure plate or clutch plate?

Thanks in advance.

Its not your clutch slave cylinder thats for sure. Your clutch pedal would be all floppy and you would be losing some fluid and/or have air in your clutch lines.

^ if it was your slave or master your pedal would feel floppy and there'd be no pressure in it. It's probably time for a new clutch

Sounds like you need a new clutch. If you want, you can bring it by my shop and I can confirm this for you.

I just did a clutch job on the vehicle.
New clutch plate, pressure plate, throwout bearing, resurfaced the flywheel.

Is there a reason why this would occur at some moments and then not at others?

OK. Problem solved. Turns out it was an issue with the pedal adjustment. I had some travel at the top but turns out it wasnt enough. as the components heated up they caused the pedal to rise slightly, guess thats also due to the fluid warming up.
Thanks for the input guys.
