Automatic Shift Cable Broke

Was driving my LX to my buddies house and on the way it stalled, I started the car again, and the transmission is stuck in reverse, i tried shifting it to anything else, wont work, wont even go in park. I take off the shifter and the cable is ripped in half when i pull it out.

How hard is it to replace this?

Does anyone have a cable laying around from an auto to manual swap?

definately find a used one because new ones are not cheap

shifter cable

i just got a same issue with my 02 kia, since i cant find a used on, i am ordering one from kia dealership for $84 brand new... basically one end of this cable is attached on your transmission and other end is attached on your gear shifter... i havent completely opened mine yet but shouldnt be all difficult ... but in meanwhile i am shifting the car into gears manually from transmission ...
