The comments by coreyhayman is pretty pathetic. Unless you have had the same problem with every single cop in the York Region, you have just put every cop, good or bad in the same catagory........you are generalizing the whole force. No different than taking an ethnic group of people and you have a problem with one and you label all of them bad because of the one. As for stating that you are glad that a cop dies and there is one less......God help you man cause you can't take that back!

Cops are people to. I've delt with some great guys, and I've had some dicks. you can't say it's all cops. I've had good and bad experiences with cops. now sometimes it's the drivers fault. my freind talks back to them then trys to figure out why he got a ticket. the key is kiss ***.

I do not agree with the statement about being happy when there is a police fatality in the line of duty because that is wrong on so many different levels.
Cops in general are pretty cool when you have to deal with them like say when they get called in for you being too loud in your apartment late at night or say when get in trouble with throwing water balloons at people ( *personal experience) but when you are in a lowered car with some oversized rims and a big muffler they generally are wads.

LOL like come on, these guys do put there life on the line for us, sure they get paid, but would u wanna do that and get paid in constant danger? i think not. . . cops are their to protect us, the amount of **** they go through in an average day is unbelieveable and the stories they hear from others, most of u who bash the cops, i'm happy that u get tickets and get constantly harrassed, maybe one day u guys will grow up too, and then the cops will treat u like human beings, like how u should treat them.

I hope you don't mean that, cause I always respect cops, and I only talk bad about them because a lot of them are total A-Holes! And maybe there are trained like that. Maybe you should get arrested and look around while your there to get a better picture. A lot of cops are racist, disrespectful people. They don't even give you the time of day to determine your mentality, they are always so quick to judge therefore I do the same back. I do think police officers deter theives, unless the thief has absouletly nothing to live for, then there'z no second thoughts, but if ur thief is ur average joe, he'll think twice about what he'z gonna do and the consquences surrounding the action he is about to take.

Googoo made a good example, on how we can look at ur statement "When you car does get broken into they couldn't care less."

If i were a police officer, to tell u the truth, i frankly wouldn't care two ****s either.

1.Domestic abuse situation, Husband is beating the **** outta wife, kids are caught up in the mix.

2.Civic Stolen, Civic already has bad name in my head as an officer for causing accidents and street racing, (Not saying that u do street race or anything, just in light of recent events, that'z the mentality of any police officer)

Now what would be priority to u, civic stolen, or the Domestic Abuse situation? Do you really want those kids watching that, wouldn't u rather follow up on something that can potentially make something of a kid rather then break the kid, for instance if u left that call, and didn't follow up, didn't care, it could continue etc. . etc. . .the kids no doubt will grow up and be lil **** disturbers and thus contribute more bad then good to society.

That's a bit blown outta proportion, but do u kinda see what i'm saying?

Well... cops are just doing there job to keep the road safe... it is very true some cops are bit** ... next time if you get very pissed just pull over and call 911 with your cell phone and tell them a cop is following you for awhile for no reason and the cop will know you called cuz they will get a call from the HQand the call is filed so if the cop give you sh*t then file a complaint and he is pretty much done. I don't really have a thing for cops so i went for the firefighter route and soon be a firefighter ^.^. In my opion, most of the cops a pus*y all they do is gang up on ppl and if there are fire or medical calls they just sit there and block off the road and the EMS and firefighters do the rest. I started to not trust cops after all those bad things on the news about cops beating ppl up and that is only the little parts of the story on the news. QUESTION ... what kind of ppl work in SIU(special investagation Unit)??? they are cops as well... they will cover as much as possible.
