Before I stored my car for winter, I got a quote for a $5500 dollars a year for my '99 Civic. Would getting insurance for 6 months be cheaper? I'll probably have it insured around March-May, gives me a good fair amount of time. What do you think?

well obvioulsy ti would be cheaper then a full year coverage.
but when its broken up it will or should still be the same amount anyway.

I take the insurance off my car every winter when I put it away, no sense in paying for something you're not using, just keep fire and theft...

i think my fire and theft is 15$ a month....driveable months are april-october

I have 6 month policy cuz I think they said it would be cheaper for me this way I only pay $195 a month but I do live in Peterborough, small town.
