will insurace write off the car?
my friend got into an accident... some lady hit his car in the 401... the bodyshop estimated the damage to his 92si at least $2500 but he only got the car for $2000..... will the insurance write off the car cuz the damage cost more than the car?
and he also spent at least $3000 on his new engine but the insurance doesn't know about it.

Insurance companies are cheap....
my moms company wanted to put her 2000 CRV she bought brand new...back together and give it to her after it got stolen and turned up in a Cambridge chop shop with practically everything missing..
but eventually after argueing, they gave her a 2002 CRV

if they find out about the motor he will get nothing
otherwise they'll probably just give $2000... pending they agreed previous that the car was worth $2000... or they might give the book value or something... anything they can really do to give less money they'll probably do
