They'll probably say no dice when you have force induction or modified suspension.

What company are you with? Im thinking maybe their was a misunderstanding between them in regards to your car.....when i got cancelled I called up many companys and the first mention of modification they told me we dont insura modified cars whatsoever, one guy even told me they had many meetings in regards to modified cars, sorry i find it hard to believe that, whats their name, gimme the # of your broker. Insurance companies can rot in ****ing hell for all I care,5 years perfect driving record and they cancel me for having tokico shocks, cross drilled rotors and a supersprint muffler, car is mint and would pass cert with ease. Yet they will insure kids with M3s

He is with Meloche Monnex. His car isn't lowered yet. He has an engine swap and stereo equipment.

When I spoke with Meloche Monnex they told me that they will insure a car that has a engine swap because the engine is up to honda engineering specs. When you start doing up the internals of the engine or coilovers that is changing the manufacturing specs. Then they won't insure you.

Meloche Monnex would have insured me if it wasn't for my suspension.

First of all calm down, I understand your hatetred for insurance companys, I hate them to. I am able to insure my car as it stand now without any problems because I am in a special situation. The only reason I can even get insurance with meloche is because of my parents, we have 4 cars with in our family insured with them as well, we are all seen as being low risk to them right know as far as I understand and they really dont have any problems with the modifications I have done to my car. For what specific reasons I dont know and I would rather not question it either, I am lucky to pay as little for insurance as I do and also have the car fully insured with all mods, even the Jap front end. And I dont deal with a broker either, I deal with Monnex directly. I am sorry you are getting ****ed along with most other young male drivers but dont get upset with me because im not, as I said im just lucky and some things I just dont question.

In my opinion, insurance companies discriminate against certain people.

They already have gender, age, marital status, the car you drive (wealth) as a deciding factor for what you will be paying for your premium. What's next? Racial Background? They might as well assume that certain racial group are known for street racing to make more money.

I would love to see them try to pull it off only just to see a lawsuit shoved up their ***.

BTW, you cant lie to Monnex either. They'll ask you to bring your car in for inspection. Then if they find anything you didnt report to them, expect to see a cancellation letter in the mail.
