when cops write tickets
Do cops write the points that u get on the ticket?
cuz i got a stupid ticket, & the cop told me he wasnt going to charge me any points. just the fine & that i coudl even call to an they would probably lower my fine.
but i called and they said for teh charge i got is 3 points
but why would this cop lie to me and say he was goin to not charge me points when he fully did?
any help is greatly appreciated

Starboy is right, the points are never indicated on the ticket. Sometimes the officer won't even know how many or even if there are points associated with a particular offence. Police are not required to know this.
But the officer didnt lie to you, because the police never charge the points. The officer is the one that charges you, the Justice of the Peace convicts you, and the Ministry of transportation issues the points...after you've been convicted!
