what should i do? hit and run ...

hey guys, i need some advice ... so last nite i parked my car at my buddys house and we went out drinkin so i didnt drive ... when i arrived back at his house i noticed that there was a car parked directly in front of mine (on the road) and it was pretty damn close to me. So i approached my car and noticed that the car in front of me was actually on resting on my hood. I looked inside my car and noticed that my cds (that i leave lying in that little space under my deck) were on the floor and my steering wheel was turned ... i then walk to the driver side and i notice that my bumper was smashed as well as my driver side door ... also, it looks like sumtin might be wrong with my rear axle cause my tire looks slightly slanted ... and to make things worse i had to reverse my car because the car in front of me was on my car and that dented my hood and grill ... i called the cops and they eventually showed up and gave me a police report saying that it was a hit and run ... now my question is this ... on my insurance i have no collision ... so im not sure if this will be covered ... should i let my insurance know? will this affect my premium? please let me kno guys ... thanks ...

How did it constitute "hit-and-run" if the alleged vehicle was still at the scene "resting on your hood"?

Also, why did you reverse your car before the cops showed up?

Maybe the car that hit his had big enough impact to cause the car went under the one in front of him.

It sounds like a car came and hit his and pushed it right under a car that was parked right in front of him.
