what does a cop see when he checks your record?

what does a cop see when he checks your record?
I want to know what shows up when a cop checks your record after pulling you over.
does it have a complete listing of all tickets issued? or only those for which the conviction went through? does he have the ability to put in a note of some sort? ie. "this guy is a punk, be a hardass with him"
just wondering because I think I might have one of those warnings on mine!!!

No - I have been told by some cop buddies of mine that it only mentions license suspensions and things of that nature, not every time you got pulled over or if you had a speeding ticket last week.

ya right , that's bs they know everything, they just type your liscence and they know all of your ****. they told me all of the tickets and points deducted when they pulled me over the last time. they knew everything

Seriously..I am pretty sure they can see all your records...I once got pull over for the license plate cover...the cop issued me a warning, and tell me it will be saved in the database and any cop will be able to retrieve it!

Those cops know everything. Sometimes they act stupid and pretend. If you fall for it then you are pretty much facked. Cops dont like when u lie.
I got pulled over by a university cop. He wore mouth braces. What a vag. He pulled over for no front plate and asked if i had been in trouble wth the law before, i said no. He chked the computer and even the criminal stuff came up. Then i got slapped with more tickets.

Last time I was in the back of a cop car, 2yrs ago, thank god, no arrest or anything like that, the cop pulled my record and they had all my info, record, and a pic from when I was 17! The good looking lady officer even said that I was "cute" 
and too young, who knows, mabey she'll pull me over some day now

i work as a volunteer with the police, so i know exactly what show us up on the screen, when they "run" you. it depends what record you are talking about....if it's driving your driving record all the information we have is the charges that you have. when your drivers license # is punched in, what comes back is all the offences that you have been given under that license number (tickets, points, etc), no matter where it happened in canada.
the same thing applies for criminal charges....but it's based on your name.
if the cops asked if you have ever had any previous charges don't lie, trust me.....you'll only get a larger fine.
