I'm 19 with a 1996 CX hatchback and I am paying $4200/year with TD Meloche Monnex.

(But my insurance is up for renewal in August so I hope I will get a lower rate at that time. A quote from their website a few days ago gave me $2950, then I got an automated email from them but it said "your quote is for $3400" I have no idea why it went up $500 in five minutes.

I also got a quote for $2550 from Bel-Air Direct.

I am not sure why the quotes I am getting are lower now. I guess when my insurance is up for renewal I will have had a full year of insurance under my belt, plus I turned 19 and got my G this year, so I guess one or more of those things makes it lower.)
