Want insurance you can afford?
I got the following email from my insurance broker:
Please contact your MP and help ****** the word!
www.insuranceicanafford.ca
tnx
Please read the info about price increase on the link below and go to the www.insuranceianafford.ca to send a complaint and send it to as many people as you know that have insurance so we can stop the increase
Good Afternoon,
I hope this e-mail finds you well.
As of this morning, 3786 MPP letters and 3707 postcards have been sent out.
I know many of you have been waiting to hear news on the Bill 198 review process. The Minister had said publicly that the decision was to be announced in mid July, but we now are hearing that the government has decided the changes will not be announced until mid–late August. The delay is now public information; please see the attached article from Tuesday’s Toronto Sun for your reference.

We have been advised, and the story supports that the reason for the delay is due to the complexity of the issue and Government’s desire to ensure that “they get it right”. While any delay is troublesome given the problems facing the industry we are not taking the delay as a negative in terms of the reforms being brought forward, and remain hopeful that our efforts of late will be reflected in the final reform package.
Please continue to ****** the word about this issue, as well as directing employees, colleagues, family and friends to www.insuranceicanafford.ca. Every letter and postcard sent out greatly helps our campaign.
As well, please see attached this week’s Inside Queen’s Park for your reading pleasure.
Thanks again for your continuing support.
