Are these Paralegals Qualified Professionals....what credentials do they have, ? cause i know many paralegals that practice within the province of ontario, aren't fully qualified . . .

The sad thing is that there are NO qualifications required to be a Paralegal ... just hang up your "shingle" and open up shop :D Mind you, there are a few very competent non-lawyers out there, you just have to know where to look. HTH.

Qualfications and credentials are being setup right now, talks between the upper law society of canada, and the gov't as well as some active ethuasitic memebers or the parelegal community are happening.

2years minumum education, relating to the study, a test of competance etc. .

I think this thread should get closed personally, cause it'z offering or promoting some guys service, who may not even be qualified or like u said civicpower a regular joe with a sign. . .that'z bad news for TCC members who want representation, but might not get the right kinda representation they need.
