towing and safety

since there is no way of getting insurance without safety and no way to get plate without either, i'll just tow the car to a place. does anybody know any cheap towing companies?

Get CAA Plus.

Its $101 bucks and you get 3 free tows upto 200kms per tow

They'll also bring a flatbed if you ask for one.

Is it for sure they don't mind if the car isn't insured/plated? I've been reading a lot and they have denied people, thats why im a bit iffy if i should get the membership.

I had a new car towed back in september and all I did was slap some old plates on and told CAA that I was leaving a friends house when my motor started to knock and I needed to take it home.. (tell them something that cant be fixxed, so they HAVE to tow it)

Its a lowered car, so I told them I needed a flat bed and they said no problem..

oh, and I'v never been asked for insurance/ownership papers, or to even see the CAA card..

Pretty sure the vehicle needs to be plated in order for CAA to tow it, but good luck anyways. Most independent tow companies charge he same rates, unless you have hook ups.

There are plently of tow companies. AT, Mega City, Martins, Prestige, Abrams, JP Towing, Reids, JP, Diamond, A-Towing.............. the list goes on.
