Towing a Car via Tow Rope/Chain/Strap

whats the skinny on this? can u tow a car with a chain or strap? and if so how far, how long etc?

the HTA says what u tow has to be attatched by 2 seperate links so if one were to break the towed item wouldnt become loose...so whats the deal? who knows?

1.Must have working 4 ways.
2.Must be an approved towing device such as a strap that
says "towing strap" PA sells these.
3.Must have sign that says "In Tow" placed in the center rear.
4.Braking system must be must be functional.
5.Must be in farthest lane to right.
6.Insurance On front vehicle.

The correct way to tow this way is to have the person in the vehicle being towed control the braking you always want to keep the strap tight. Also use hand signals to explain what the car in front is doing.

Now did you get my pm about the rear lip CM?
