ya there is no way or take it into apple or a repuabitle tint shop and get them to write a paper and sign it. Cause the judge cant make that decision they are licences in that feild. And if you get what would be considered expert testimony i.e. a licenced glass tech to write and sign saying its not then U WIN!!!!

id suggest taking a few pictures with you to court!!! unfortunately, cops LOVE to pull over guys in civics... this is due to the fact that there are so many a**holes out there that speed around, street race etc...unfortunately..you got pulled over for some bogus "dark tint".
i am assuming that he gave u the ticket in hopes that you would lash out at him because the ticket is completely ridiculous , and he could hand you a couple more.
be more cautious around the area, so u dont run into him again....and let us know how court goes~

Good luck!!!!

I agree. This smells like a metro cop. Just fight it and you'll get off lightly with the prosecutor.

Funny thing is I drove 3 years with the same tint and never had a problem

I took it to court and the ticket got thrown out but it was still a pain in the butt to go there, wait in line !

I changed my tints since then , and so far i had not problems
