i got a ticket for a headlight that was out tonight. He said that if i provide proof within 24 hours that i fixed the problem that it would be voided. Can i just bring a fuse reciept??? Is that good enough to show them that i fixed the problem??

assuming that it was the problem.
i would buy the fuse make sure the reciept has date and time (if you go to canadian tire their reciepts have both) get that.

install the fuse
then take a newspaper lay it on the hood and then take a pic of it. also make sure you take a pic of the date on the newspaper.
wont do much help because people can fake it. but it shows that you actually took your time which is what they want to see.

i got the same ticket a few days ago....and the cop told me to fix it and take it to court and he will drop it...but i rather fix it and show them to save me the time, instead waiting a year for a date
