Ticket Errors

As most of you herd I've gotten two tickets over the weekend, I double checked them both cause i'm gonna go into the court house to check with them on it, one ticket has my address incorrect and the year of my vehicle as for the other has the year of the vehicle incorrect, do both these things matter or will I still have to pay the fines?

Address errors will not matter and even if you object they can be amended in court.

Tickets do not state the year of your car. They state only your license plate number and validation tag expiry date. Even if the cop gets these wrong, they too can be amended.

The only thing that has to be correct on your ticket is your name (typos are acceptable and will not invalidate the ticket), the date (minor date and time errors are acceptable and will not invalidate the ticket), the charge, and the set fine amount.

Its a misconception that a ticket will automatically be thrown out on small errors, best thing to do is be prepared and reduce the ticket as much as you can.
