TD wont insure me because of exhaust

were you 2nd driver? I have never seen a driver under the age of 25 no matter the car pay $725 yearly for full coverage. Considering State Farm doesn't even do a yearly premium they do it semi-annually meaning you paid $362.5 for your 6 month premium.... meaning you paid $60.42/month for full coverage which SF office were you with?... I would love to transfer my policies to that agent.........

thats what i keep telling everyone..
everyone here is so surprise that some people are paying so low .. well guess what .. ask them what address they have under their insurance and thats probably the reason..
When i got my insurance the price difference between two addresses (3 blocks apart from each other) was 35 dollars a month . In the same city , just 3 blocks apart from each other ....

it goes by postal code.... determines the risk in that territory... so yes, 3 blocks away has the potential to make a difference
insurance goes by the address on your license... if I moved basically down the street my postal code would change and drop $60/month. Further north you go, the cheaper it is

thats the reason i find it pointless to compare insurance quotes or prices that we all pay.... Unless we all live in the same city (at least) ..or unless people can share their experiences with different insurance company..
I just laugh when someone here comes and says i m paying 60 a month an the next person thinks he is going to ge the same quote. It just does not work like that

I've never had an insurance company ask me if anything was done to my cars. When my EG hatch got written off i showed the ins company the receipts and was covered for most of the losses. They gave me almost 8000 for a '93. That was about 6 years ago.

TD is pretty a n al when it comes to mods. I have my mazda 3 under td insurance and i also had to take the car for inspection. The guy took a lot of pictures ofthe car
I was also told by td that they won insure modded cars. My honda is lowered and they refused to insure it .
tinting, rims , decks , are ok though

Location, along with age and marital status can also effect your insurance rates. When I read about people paying $400 month for a 10+ year old car, I assume they live in the GTA, are single and under 25.
In my case, Im with Johnson/Unifund, Im in my 30's, married and I live out in the boonies. I pay under $300 month for my 07 Si, my 07 Mini Cooper, my house and my life insurance.
Everyones situation is different, so an insurance company that is good for one person, may not be the same for another.

That would be about the stupidest move possible given that the insurance company has explicitly made your insurance coverage conditional on you bringing your exhaust back to stock.
If you are in a crash and they find that you have put a modified exhaust back on the car, they will cancel your policy on grounds of misrepresentation and breach of contract. That means you can be held personally on the hook for any damages arising out of a crash.
It also means that your name goes on an insurance industry black list along with all the other people cancelled for insurance mispresentation or insurance fraud. Once you're on that list, say goodbye to any chance at all of getting affordable insurance for the next very many years.
