Take a guess at this FINE

Well last night decided to go up to kingston waterloo and then to london and back home at 1:30 in the morning...well about 30 mins in i am going 180 and see a cop ahead slamm on the breaks and begin to slow down ...and instantly get pulled over...go figure...

cop says i was doing 170 in a 100 and gives me a straight summons to court....

but i was behind him and 3 lanes over!?
Is it possible he caught me on radar???

and what is your guess at the fine

the new cop cars are equipped to radar from behind, with the fine it can be up to $5000 because you were going 50km over and possibly suspended licence

The cop doesnt have to show you the radar........anyway, its like admitting your speed if you do choose to see it, cause (s)he is showing your captured speed to you!

fine could range from 600 to 5000!

hire someone for this one, you dont want to get a suspension
that will really mess you up with your insurance

They have mobile radar. They've had that for quite a while now.

well here is the gist of it so far...

6 points...
fine is supposed to be 9.75$ for ever km over the limit past 50 over and above..... so right there that is
9.75*70=
$682.50
Then add tax
682.50*1.15=
$784.88
Then apparantley since i was exceeding the limit by so much the judge has the option to add a fine on top of you to 5000$ and liscense suspension.
after the suspension i must retake the driving exam and pay 110$ to reeinstate

now since i have 5 points on my record...i am looking at interviews with the ministry of transportaion after the court date and a possible suspension for 6 months.. and another reinstatement for 110$ then re-examination again and then they drop me back down to 7 total points instead of 12

I recommend Pointts, X-Copper isn't very good. I've had poor experience dealing with X-Copper.

You cant speed on that hwy they got helichopters that get high speeders.
I could of easily ran from the cops, they cant do 250. I heard of an NSX that did 270 and got caught miles down when he got off the ramp. You cant speed man, it sucks but it also takes a kick in the *** to respect the laws too. Well, for you and me.

You and me both. 180 in my world wasn't unheard of. Man I've been likey.

I can't imagine getting a ticket for going that speed (Or higher!). I can't imagine getting a ticket! The hassle of going to court, getting lawyer, man that's it I'm going to slow it down now.
