Hey if a cop asks you if he can look under the hood or in the cabin or trunk you can say no. As long as you're calm and polite about it . Dont give him a cause to look and he cant.

Being polite is the key, I had the pleasure to witness it first hand when i received my first ticket. The cop could of burned me for 3 or 4 things I didnt have at the time with me. I remained polite and the cop gave me a HUGE break. So remember being polite will save your ***

This is a very informative post, good job. I was just wondering, (since it attracts cops) how low can your car legally be? Cuz you see some cars like corvets that come stock already basically on the floor, but then u drop ur civic a couple inches and cops start pulling you over. How low can u lower a car?

What i find is effective is when a cop pulls you over, shut off your car and put the keys on the dash board. wrest your wrists on your steering wheel so he knows your not reaching for anything and your not plannign to drive away. Cops have always been impressed with the keys on the dashboard
