No. Don't tell them **** brother. I tell my insurance company I do 5,000 km yearly. Those mother ****ers take enough of my money.

i think that you can...i think you have to have it cleared by the mto do you not? i have seen lots of guys do it tho so im not 100 percent on it....it is a safety standard in the car. i know if you are shorter than 5 foot you can have them taken out

If your shorter then 5 ft you shouldn't be driving due to not being able to see infront of the car, unless you have a booster seat and can still reach pedals. lol.

by the time the insurance company takes a look at the car and if your really serious about you can just blow the airbag and put it in the car

Probably not the best idea to remove it, but it's already done...

They can probably void the policy for non-disclosure, and if you get hurt in a crash, they can probably refuse to pay.

Good luck though...

Thanx for the help guys..

I'm keeping the stock wheel, so if they want to see the car or anything, I'll just put it back on.

zyepher 01-Aug-2008 02:35 PM

smart idea.

don't be dumb and throw the bag in a firepit

I worked at a KIA dealer, I know, I know...
Anyway. I had a bunch of videos of us blowing up the airbags when they were replaced for warranty. Lots of fun! They can really fly!
