Speeding ticket on 401.......
I received a ticket this morning on the way to work. The police officer was in an unmarked car speeding up behind me, as if he wanted to pass so I moved aside. Then he just sat there in the passing lane beside me. Then finally I had to go around another car in the middle lane so I used the slow lane. The cop just sat there and backed off a little, so I got back in the passing lane and drove away. Then the cop comes speeding up behind me again as if to pass and this time the cherries came on. He said he clocked me at 141 km/h.
Now I didn't ask to see the radar but I am curious as to how the radar works while the car is moving ?? If he is relying on his speedometer, that can't be valid, can it ??
Any suggestions folks ??

Sometimes cops rely on "relative speed" apparently to give tickets. That still holds ground in court so you can't challenge that really...
That uses speedometer... yes.
