Speeding Ticket
Alright, lets see
Pulled over originally for going 105 in a 60 zone (according to cop) I believe I was going lower than that, but whatever. Cop gives me a break and puts 89km/h in a 60 zone instead. Long story short, now I just need to know what is the best thing that I should do? Cop said I could just plead guilty with explanation and they may lower punishment. Or should I get a lawyer? Also, what is the legal size of the windshield banner anyway? Cop said that 4 inches or smaller is fine, and said that mine was more than that.
Thanks in Advance,
D-T

That sticker thing.........on your winsheild, there is some marks at the upper sides of the front glass. They should be near the top corners,,,,,,Some cars will have the letters "ASI" and a small line. As long as the banner dosn't come down past this point (4"-6") then you should be ok. It is put there so when the manufacturer of the windsheild puts the tint there (the kind that is IN the glass), They would know how far to spray the tinted coating.:working:

it is 4 Points for exceeding the speed limit by 30 to 49 km/h. btw, you GET points you dont lose them
also just be prepared that if you take the ticket to court and the cop really clocked you at 105km/h then he can raise the ticket back up to 105 instead of only 89. but if you are sure you werent going that fast then dont worry the cop was just trying to scare you.

If your banner is in the "sweep" area of the wiper (it touches the banner when the wippers are on....can get a ticket for this), Just get a shorter blade.
If the 22" blade overlaps the banner by 1"-2", just get a blade that is 18" - 20" instead. No more touching the banner, therfore you shouldn't get a ticket.
